Why is there so much time today?

Is anyone else feeling like this today?

I've had an everything shower, cleaned the house, washed the windows inside, got to the bottom of my laundry basket, stripped and remade the beds, walked the dog twice, hoovered the car, packed my bag for my little getaway tomorrow, did a bit of weeding outside, and it's still not even 2pm??

3pm in yesterday's money, but I feel like it should be about 5pm by now!

I normally avoid the supermarkets on a weekend afternoon because they're usually rammed but I think I'm going to go get my shopping, just for something to do.

Anyone else got time in abundance today? Grin

You OK @BigNosed?

grafittiartist · 27/10/2024 13:56

Yes- it's a treat isn't!
Nice to be able to make the most of the extra hour.

HalloweenHaribo · 27/10/2024 13:57

Are you going to pretend you didn't know the clocks went back, or are you saying the extra hour seems like longer OP?

I'm aware the clocks changed. Hence my comment about 2pm being 3pm yesterday. Just saying it feels more like 2-3 hours!

7am! That's why I'm not understanding where all the time has come from and why I'm ready for gin o'clock already!

I'm normally a lazy cow on weekends Grin

I said the same earlier. Couldn't believe it was only 12pm !

goingdownfighting · 27/10/2024 14:15

Perhaps it's the lighter morning. Woken you up and got you motivated?

SnapdragonToadflax · 27/10/2024 14:16

I always feel like this the day after the clocks go back. It's great!

XxSideshowAuntSallyx · 27/10/2024 15:15

Yes I was up and showered by 7:30, walked into town and back (that was a mistake I've made my plantar fascitis worse and now have a blister on top of that pain) and got back and it was still only 1:30.

I've just fed the cats at 3pm

TheBelleOfBelfastCity · 27/10/2024 15:17

I agree OP. The day is dragging in. Feeling very out of sorts, just can’t relax and lots of nervous energy. Need to do something but on a rainy Sunday there’s not much to do!

I normally love a lazy day but something just feels ‘off’

MightSoundCrassButItsFactual · 27/10/2024 15:21

Tell me how you do it, because when they give me 10 rooms to do for few hours, I don't know where the time goes

xyz111 · 27/10/2024 15:21

I know what you mean. Yes the clock went back, but today feels like it's going so slowly!!!

WonderingWanda · 27/10/2024 15:57

I feel like today has been nice and long but in fairness I woke up at 5.30 today time then did stuff based on yesterday time because I forgot to change the clocks downstairs. Meant we were all out the house an hour earlier than planned so we had more time for everything. The other thing gas been the lovely sunshine, still quite light outside!
