I was awake doing night feed around 1:40am-2:20am, I was curious about what happened at 2am - was the clock going to reset to 1am? It did not. I’m confused. Did this happen at 3am? I know when I woke in morning it’s happened. But when

My daughter woke up at 1.48 on my Alexa clock. She was still awake at 2.20 on the Alexa clock. The analogue clock in the kids' bedroom showed 3.20 so I assume it got to 2.59 and then went back to 2

I’m wondering whether the 5.5hours of sleep my Fitbit recorded was actually 6.5.

Having worked nights when the clock changed, I believe it’s 3am. So in Autumn you repeat 2-3am, in spring you jump from 3-4.

DS woke up at what said 1.30am on my iPhone, but my Huckleberry app said he'd been asleep 5.5 hours. I know for sure he went to sleep at 9pm so the clock must already have gone back by then.

AFAIK the official time is 2am back to 1am.

When you woke and looked at 1.40am OP it must already have happened.

Mine read 01.52 and I thought, 'oh it'll go back at 2am' (because I'd been told this on another thread), and then when I looked at it a minute later, after I'd finished reading an MN post, it read 01.09.

So that was weird.

At 2am, it then goes back to 1am. It's the longest hour EVER when you're working a night shift 🤦🏻‍♀️

In October at 2am the clocks go back 1 hour
In March the clocks go forward at 1am

I don't think thats the case in the UK, when the clocks for forward it's at 1am and backwards at 2am

No idea what iPhones do but I believe thats what the official position is

I was working night shift. After 01.59 it went to 01.00

To be fair, it’s been a few years since I worked a night shift! Could be 2am 🤷🏻‍♀️

I watched it change last night- I was just back after a night out. Was very impressed to see my phone going 1.57...1.58....1.59...1.00. It's the first time I've ever witnessed it.

I've got an Android not an iPhone though, but I'm sure they're exactly the same in this respect.

Same as above, I watched it change too...couldnt sleep. 0159 to 0100 on my Samsung. Not sure why apple would be any different as 2am is standard time it changes. In spring it jumps from 0159 to 0300

I was still up at 2am just going to bed and all the house clocks said 2am but my iPhone said 1am I know because I looked at it to turn my alarm on.

My audible clock did did the 1am chime twice, as in once at 1am and once at what would have been 2am if the clocks hadn't changed. Most bizarre

I would guess it had already changed when you woke at 1:40am
