I know it was a while ago since valentines but just came across it again. The author is 13yo and the subject is 12yo. Abolutely no problems but I think one thinks they are bf and gf and the other doesn't

They are still friends but not "gf/bf"
I guess I'm just shocked at how good the damn poem is!
And not sure what to tell my son ( the recipient of the poem ) to do. They are so young so I'm hoping it will just slide along, but she has put a huge amount of effort into that.
For his birthday she made a card and drew every animal we own ( there's 9) and a detailed drawing of our property ,
I guess its just cute young feelings, but if I mention to my son that she is his gf he says "No mum" . Def not on his radar. I'm just worried it is all going to end in tears
Anyone have any good idea to avoid the tears or just let it go and see what happens.
Any ideas appreciated.
PS they catch the bus for an hour either way to their school so it's not like I can keep them apart. I'm hopeful it will just be a lovely friendship fx
