Weekend Plans?

Anyone up to much? Day off today so going to see DM this afternoon. Nice tea planned of butcher’s chicken breasts, loads of roasties, cauliflower cheese & peas. I’m working tomorrow then watching The Voice final. Probably fishfingers, chips & beans for Saturday tea. Not sure about Sunday yet. If it’s fine, I might check out a local lakes & gardens place. Always looks lovely on Facebook & they do cake! Tea is steak bakes, garlic mash & broccoli.

Last day of half term here so going with DD and friends to a theme park today - I'm not a fan of rides so will be chief bag holder/photo taker! Tomorrow we've no specific plans apart from watching Strictly. DD has rugby Sunday morning then after that it will probably be homework and prepping uniform/bags for the dreaded return to work and school. No idea about food, in a bit of a cooking rut so might be whatever I can find in the freezer for a day or two!

I'm off with 3yo DD today, but we're just chilling at home mostly. We (well, I) carved our pumpkin earlier and might do some baking with the insides later. Tomorrow, DH is out all day with friends, so I'm taking DD to our local NT place for their half term trail and lunch. Sunday DH is going to take DD out for some one on one time, so I can rest (pregnant and had a full on week at work, so I'm exhausted)

Working today, with chicken Forestierre for dinner (a fancy name for a chicken breast with bacon and mushrooms and onion in a sauce, with mashed potato) and in bed as early as possible because I have the lurgy and I’m knackered.

This weekend will be entirely taken up by cleaning, assembling IKEA storage, filling said storage and resisting the urge to switch my phone off and hide out in the nearest Premiere Inn to sleep all weekend in perfect peace.

Been to the gym this morning, going to do some yoga at home later. Making fish burgers for dinner tonight. Off to Plymouth tomorrow to visit eldest ds and his girlfriend, long train journey but looking forward to seeing them.

Piano, swimming and horse riding lesson to fit in for DC on Saturday. Then park run and horse riding comp on Sunday. So should keep us busy!
