Will DD get her phone back?

Has anyone had success finding a phone at Alton Towers?
DD's phone has come out of her pocket on a ride at Alton Towers and she is devastated. It's dark now so they can't look for it but Guest Services at the park have said they will do a sweep when it's light in the morning and will get in touch if they find it. How likely is it that they will a) find it and b) get in touch?

My DD's glasses came out of her pocket on The Smiler a few years ago. Same situation, it was dark so they couldn't check that day but we did get a phonecall the day after saying they had them and they posted them back to us.

Does it have location on it?

She may get it back, but it might be smashed so Prepare her for that

My husband lost his phone on wicker man. We could see it on find my iPhone going round. We went to services and they had it by the time we got there

Do they know which ride it cane out of? I recon they will find it.
