Rivals! Loving the Codswolds scenery & upper class lifestyle. One can dream. Is the reality very different?!

Would love to live & send my kids to school there! Aspirational mummy😁

Just to add, the acting is as wonderful as the scenery!

Erm, life in the Cotswolds is pretty much like most places. The difference in Rivals is whether you can afford/inherit a large pile of a house.

There is a lot more mud at this time of the year though. Clarkson's farm is probably a better representation of actually living there - even with the "Jeremy Clarkson" effect 😆

Rivals is brilliant TV though and despite RCB looking nothing like his description in the book we are really enjoying it!

Well it isn't the 80s anymore unfortunately

I could NEVER afford it as a lifestyle, but I have to admit I love popping into Daylesford etc when driving through, and spending like £4 on a single carrot to pretend to be part of the 1% 😂

🤣With the cost of living crisis Rivals really is pure escapism! I've never been to the Codswolds unfortunately & I don't know how many times I asked DH last night "do folk really live like this" to which he repeatedly replied "not folk like us"☺️
