Is this something to be concerned about?

Have you ever forgotten how to do something that you know how to do for no reason? DP has a fancy dress thing at work today and needed to tie a tie as part of his costume. He couldn't remember how to do it. He literally has a tie business as a side hustle!! Now he's not tying ties daily, as he doesn't wear them for his job, but he is the person who helps his dad, brother etc to do theirs for special occasions. He also wears a tie a few times a year for special occasions too. He's tied them many times for marketing shots for his business, although not for a while. He also has had jobs in the past where he's had to wear them daily, but again years ago. He's 44. Is this something to be concerned about or have you had this randomly happen to you that you forget to do something that you've done many times before, but don't do as much now? The last time he wore a tie was on my birthday on 21st September, so not that long ago!
