Mug cakes are the quickest I have ever made!

ginasevern · 23/10/2024 15:51

Crumble, you can buy it in a packet and a tin of fruit.

GiddyRobin · 23/10/2024 15:52

Eton Mess? Maybe a trifle? Bit summery but quite quick! Or maybe an apple crumble?

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 23/10/2024 16:00

Crumble, as @ginasevern described, but pretty easy from scratch if you have the ingredients.

Pineapple upside down cake. Quick sponge mix, tin of pineapple and oven. Now this has popped into my head I really want some. A crispy edge piece please

How about my 2 minute chocolate sauce served on good ice cream.
Butter, syrup, soft brown sugar into a jug. Microwave for a minute. Stir in cocoa powder to taste, a capful of brandy (optional) and a splash of milk. Microwave for another minute. If not too much liquid is added it cools into a delicious chewy texture.

My favourite quick desserts;

Apple crumble
I don’t know what you’d call it but basically chargrill fresh pineapple on the griddle with brown sugar, and serve with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce (DC fave)
Eton mess

Oh and affogato of course

Another vote for crumble!
Or New York chocolate chip cookies
