When did McVities Digestives change?

I haven’t had any in years and just bought a pack of milk chocolate McVities Digestives for a treat. They taste terrible 😫

They’ve probably reduced the sugar (and salt)…

About 10 years ago! Used to love the plain digestives but now they are dry and tasteless and the price is ridiculous!

Sainsbury's chocolate chip digestives are much nicer and cheaper

Why did they change them?!

I loved them when they were called Homewheat - not been the same since the name change!

We treated ourselves to some chocolate hobnobs this week. Not had them in years and they've changed too! Seems like they've taken out the butter or something like that in both biscuits 😡

I think digestives used to be made with butter. They use palm oil now, presumably purely to reduce costs.
