Struggling to think of an actor I would cast rather than the dark haired chap that is playing him in Rivals, but maybe that's the point - he is sooo perfect his likeness doesn't exist

When I reas the books in the early I pictured him as a blonde Rupert Everett/young Robert Redford hybrid.

Of the current day actors I think James Norton would be best but Alexander Skarsgard is a good option. Chris Hemsworth has the looks but I just can't see him as a Tory MP.

Marcus was perfectly cast. I think AH did a good job showing RCB's vulnerable side but was a miss on the rest for me. Danny Dyer was amazing as Freddie though.

I read the books as a teenager in the late 90s, so Rupert's always had a distinct touch of Leo for me.... (I know, I know - he's not English, I've never heard him do a posh accent, and he seems to be a bit of dirty old man these days. But still 🤷‍♀️)
