Anyone else like cold sheets?

Just wondering if I'm the only person who likes the feel of very cold sheets in winter. I've never been tempted to have cold showers or ice baths but love getting into a cold bed in winter, unheated room but very warm duvet. Is this really unusual?

Yes, me! I love stretching into a starfish in cold sheets and I'm always a bit miffed when they warm up. I especially love freshly-laundered 100% cotton sheets for this.

If I'm feeling warm, then yes I do.

If I'm feeling chilled, or have cold feet, then definitely not

And love having the windows open in the bedroom, even when it is minus something.
Electric blankets and central heating would be my idea of a nightmare.

I'm the same OP.

Always sleep with the window open and don't like my bedroom heated (keep the radiator off in here). I love getting into cold sheets but have a thick down duvet so I warm up quite quickly. Also love a cold pillow and turn mine over in the night sometimes to get the cold side against my face.

Not from now on in. But I don't like them heated either, just brushed cotton. In the summer I love proper cold cotton sheets.

It’s very, very usual. It’s a common thing to love the cold side of the pillow, and wish your enemies that ‘both sides of your pillow are always warm’.

We have sheets made of special material that stays cool.
