Tea or coffee?

Do you prefer tea or coffee? My preference is fairly weak Yorkshire tea, definitely no milk or sugar & around 6-8 mugs per day. I very rarely drink coffee.

Tea for the first two hot drinks of the day (Twinings Strong English Breakfast with a splash of milk), instant coffee with oat milk late morning, and a very white pod coffee with a little hazelnut syrup early afternoon. I’m fussy about tea, so if we’re out or away, I’ll stick to coffee.

Strong tea, milk, no sugar.

I rarely drink coffee unless I wind up at a coffee shop, or I have a McDonald's breakfast.

Two normal instant coffees to wake up, then switch to decaf, very rarely drink tea.
If I'm out a decaf cappuccino always

Rarely drink tea. If I do, it's middling to weak, no milk, no sugar. I will sometimes have a herbal tea or a hot chocolate. I never drink coffee. I'm pretty sure caffeine doesn't agree with me.

Bluevelvetsofa · 20/10/2024 13:03

Coffee from the coffee machine.

DelurkingAJ · 20/10/2024 13:04

Proper coffee, black, no sugar. Otherwise Earl Grey, milk, fairly weak. Otherwise water.

Singleandproud · 20/10/2024 13:06

Never coffee
If having tea then milk + 1/2 a tsp sugar
I rarely make proper tea for myself though Pukka Wild Apple or hot vimto is my go to ATM.

AmeliaEarache · 20/10/2024 13:06

Two strong coffees to start the day. Weak black tea from lunchtime onwards.

NotUnderMyUmbrella · 20/10/2024 13:06

Tea every day of the week! Normally English breakfast, or assam. Two or three cups a day

I occasionally drink herbal tea - one per week maybe.

I very seldom drink coffee. I might have one alongside a cooked breakfast when staying in a hotel - which doesn’t often occur!

I like all types of coffee, black, white, posh, instant, iced, hot, as long it’s it strong I’ll drink it. I never drink tea, can’t stand the smell. Not sure if I’ve ever actually tasted it

Onetwothreemisstwo123 · 20/10/2024 13:13

Love the smell of coffee, can't stand the taste.
I drink about 8 mugs of strong tea, milk and no sugar each day.

2 strong coffees first thing followed by one more around 1ish.
I switch to herbal tea for the afternoon.
If I'm out and about my go to is an oat milk latte.

Kitkat1523 · 20/10/2024 13:32

Yorkshire tea, no sugar

FourEyesGood · 20/10/2024 13:32

Decaf tea first thing
Then proper coffee (made in moka pot)
Then decaf coffee
Then decaf tea throughout the rest of the day.

treacledan71 · 20/10/2024 13:33

Milk tea with two sweeteners. Have morrisins own at the monent. Don't like coffee.

SingingSands · 20/10/2024 14:02

Definitely tea - always Yorkshire tea. I might have coffee twice a month at most, but only if DH makes it for me.
