Tuna

Sunbird24 · 20/10/2024 20:28

Mushrooms, cooked tomato, runny egg (have trained myself to cope with a slightly runny yolk but will never get past undercooked whites) and skin on custard or rice pudding

IBegYourBiggestPardon · 20/10/2024 20:29

Porridge
Ready brek
Weetabix
Rice pudding although I do like risotto
Kidney
Bananas although dried bananas are fine and so is banana bread
Fat and gristle in meat

WhimsicalGubbins76 · 20/10/2024 20:29

Ones that remind me of shaved skin-like onions 🤣

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 20/10/2024 20:29

Broccoli.

Bonjovispjs · 20/10/2024 20:42

Rare meat 🤢 Also any kind of fat, bacon fat, fat on chops etc.

Blingismything · 20/10/2024 20:44

Avocado.

PauliesWalnuts · 20/10/2024 20:50

Just came on to say avocado (boak) but @Blingismything got there just before me.

Also those salty sweet sticky glutinous sauces that every Chinese meal comes in will ensure that you’ll never find me in the queue at a Chinese chippy.

ghostbusters · 20/10/2024 21:01

Smoked salmon and parma ham/salami/chorizo in thin slices eaten cold. I like all these things cooked, just not straight from thy fridge.
Fried eggs are a horrible texture /mouth feel.

Bignanna · 20/10/2024 21:13

Bones in tinned salmon and eggshell in scrambled egg set my teeth on edge

Sassybooklover · 20/10/2024 21:32

Tomato's and oranges - 🤢 I can't stand the texture.

TronaldDumps · 20/10/2024 21:38

Broad beans and butter beans, can just about tolerate kidney beans but not chickpeas.

Any chicken that isn't breast

Fruit that is overripe

Any ch*ese (can't even bear to see it written 😂

Keepsmiling2948 · 20/10/2024 21:53

Red meat, and chicken thighs, basically any meat which has fat/gristle/tendons. Makes me gag, even watching other people pull bits of gristle from their mouth picking meat from around it makes my toes curl. Instant ick!

Gingerkittykat · 20/10/2024 22:50

I'm autistic so have a lot of food aversions due to texture.

Toast, all cereals, almost all fruit, anything mixed together like stew or soups with more than one veg in it, baguettes or crusty bread, canned soups or anything gloopy, long grain rice.....I could go on.

I do actually eat a wide range of food just none of the above.

GretaGip · 20/10/2024 11:05

Okra

Slimy green sludge 🤢

Oh wow, that's the only food that my other half can't eat either 😝we love cooking all types of food, but okra is the only thing he will never eat.

meeeeeee1234 · 20/10/2024 23:00

would you explain a bit more regarding the food isuues and clothing issues?

TheChosenTwo · 20/10/2024 23:02

Jelly and anything else with that wobbly gelatine texture 🤢
I also really struggle with wet things touching dry things and the wet stuff bleeding into things that should remain dry!

Isitreallythiscrap · 20/10/2024 23:05

Water chestnuts

Notasunnydayhere · 20/10/2024 23:05

The slitheriness of egg white.
The pith on an orange.
The grittiness of sugar.
There creakiness of cornflour - even typing that made me shudder.

IvanaTinkles · 20/10/2024 23:09

Things like couscous & quinoa - don’t mind the taste, but the texture makes me gag.

And water chestnuts - ruins a nice sweet & sour dish when you suddenly bite into one of the vile things!

pollypocket90 · 20/10/2024 23:11

Them grainy cakes you get at AI hotels abroad 😝

Orders76 · 20/10/2024 23:12

Anything meat
Bananas
Weetabix

SallyWD · 20/10/2024 23:13

Bananas and porridge. It's that kind of thick, claggy texture I hate. I feel like it'll get stuck in my throat.

Hohofortherobbers · 20/10/2024 23:13

Pate, or terrine, or paste, I hate mushed up meat

whiteroseredrose · 20/10/2024 23:14

I don't like chewy which is why I never liked meat. Unfortunately I do like crunchy which is why I like crisps too much.

Bitteralmond · 20/10/2024 23:14

Liver, sultanas, large pieces of onion, egg white (although fine in meringues, mousses etc), cooked tomato skin.
