Loads. DM died last year and as an only child I ended up with most of the stuff. We got rid of so much but I'm still sorting through it... She was a bit of a hoarder.

We do have my childhood tumble dryer, which DM gave me when DD was little. It's the same age as me (36) - she got it when I was born and it's still going strong.

That’s how we acquired my mums one. She gifted it to us on the birth of our first
Great mums think alike ❤️

My low self esteem and anxiety.

Quite a few things from the 1930s when my parents got married. I have no siblings, so kept things as reminders. Some I’ve passed on already to the DC and DGC. I’m looking at an oak bookcase that was in our sitting room when I was growing up, with some old books and ornaments in it, and a fire screen my mum made. I also have a lot of photos from the 19thc, I don’t know who most are!

My little ponies. My books. I’ve had some of my clothes for 35 years, since I was a baby goth (goth fashion doesn’t change much!!). Photos. My wine and sherry glasses. Some other toys.

Nothing from my childhood home but my husband has a load of toys and outdated electronics and gadgets we have no space for that he refuses to get rid of.

Quite a lot of furniture. Chairs from the 1920s and Victorian chest of drawers. Not long ago I discovered a set of hook and eyes on a card in my sewing box which says they cost 3d, and look like they came from the 1950s by the style of writing.

Also, my great grandmothers sewing machine.

My 40 year old potato masher I inherited from my mum died this week 😭 it mashed the best spuds

A set of scales and a four-legged oak stool that belonged to my grandma. It's well over hundred years old.
From my late DH's childhood - so many things.
