I'm a 'healthy weight'!

For the first time in 20 years.
Started my journey in 2021 with a class 3 obesity BMI (morbidly obese) and as of yesterday my BMI is 24.8 and 'normal'

I just wanted to share as I've been classed as overweight since 19 years old and I'm now 40.

Yay!!! Congratulations! You've totally beaten the odds there. I hope you feel really proud of yourself!

Sorry, no tips as I tried everything for 6 years previously and just continued to gain so I had a gastric sleeve. It's still been a hard journey and a steep learning curve but I had alot of issues around food mentally and couldn't break the cycle (even with therapy and hypnosis)
I got to BMI 29 and was stagnant for a year (but no gains) and then started mounjaro for the last part of my journey, still have another 14lbs to go to target but am confident that once I get there I won't regain any significant amount as it's allowed me to break the cycles I had for 20 years and thw food dependency.

Do you plan to stay on the injections ?

No.
I was maintaining absolutely fine but couldn't shift the last amount.
The injections are helping me shift the stubborn weight then I will maintain myself.

I will only have had 3 pens/months.
