Frozen chicken

I took chicken out to defrost overnight in fridge but it's still a bit frozen .
Is it ok to put it into slow cooker like this?
I want to throw a curry on before I leave for work

I don't think I would as I'm sure it would need to be thoroughly defrosted first but I'm not 100% sure sorry

I do this all the time, as long as the slow cooker is hot when you put it in and it doesn’t sit lukewarm for ages it will be fine.
