What's your death row drink?

What would your last drink be? I'm torn between guava juice or something with a helluva of a kick so that I feel more relaxed. I don't know I could feel relaxed so maybe the guava juice would win.

Hmm, never thought about this one. I’d have to decide between a freshly made cafetière of black coffee, a bottle of Malbec or a pitcher of Peruvian pisco sour. In Peru it’s made with less sugar than Chile, so I’d need a bar tender who knows the difference 🤣

ThePoshUns · 18/10/2024 12:57

A Singapore sling

Dozycuntlaters · 18/10/2024 12:57

Pepsi max with ice or a Tim Hortons iced coffee

Chimbos · 18/10/2024 12:58

bottle of white wine or a pitcher of margaritas. I would definitely not care for being sober in this situation!

eqpi4t2hbsnktd · 18/10/2024 13:09

pouilly- fume white wine... preferably a bottle.

LastNight1Dreamt1WentToManderleyAgain · 18/10/2024 13:11

Tea makes me so happy I'd probably ask the executioner if they'd like to share some cake.

Stath · 18/10/2024 13:14

A two litre bottle of coke and a huge packet of Mentos shotgunned down my throat
I'd go out with a literal bang

BellaQueen · 18/10/2024 13:19

I don't drink so for me it would have to be an amazing barista made latte with caramel syrup

HopeSpringsInfernal · 18/10/2024 18:31

LisaJohnsonsFacebookMole · 18/10/2024 12:45

Sounds amazing

Oh it is! Not easy to find it on the bar menu though - so if someone could suggest somewhere that does it in central London it would be much appreciated

Comedycook · 18/10/2024 18:33

I don't drink but I do like mulled wine and sangria so would probably go one of those

SiobhanSharpe · 18/10/2024 18:36

A very large and very dry classic Beefeater gin martini, on the rocks so it lasts longer, with two olives and a twist of lemon.
Might as well die sloshed as sober.

AnyFucker · 18/10/2024 18:36

Negroni- large one

BakedBeansforabrain · 18/10/2024 18:40

A bottle of Malbec would go down a treat

SlightlyJaded · 18/10/2024 18:42

Chocolate Milkshake. Proper thick, creamy, belgium choclately, made with dairy ice cream, milkshake.

so actually, practically a pudding

I reckon the Ritz American Bar or similar upmarket hotel bar should be able to accommodate you. (Not so sure they'd be happy with the accompanying prison warders ...)

ImaginativeUserName123 · 18/10/2024 18:45

Ice cold diet coke, with ice added and a slice of lemon.

If not allowed the fancy things, prison environment and all that, just a cold can of diet coke. No rola cola.

I've given this way too much thought.

Sethera · 18/10/2024 18:50

I'll have a pint of Guinness, I think.

AddictedToBooks · 18/10/2024 18:52

A treble rum and coke. At least I wouldn't have to worry about the hangover.

ronconcoke · 18/10/2024 18:52

A pornstar martini.

Or if they can't do that, an ice cold bottle or Staropramen.

Otherwise, a steaming hot cup of builder's tea.

AllProperTeaIsTheft · 18/10/2024 18:52

Hard to decide between Pimm's Royale (Pimm's made with champagne instead of lemonade) and a big cup of beautiful loose-leaf tea. I think the Pimm's wins though!

AtmosAtmos · 18/10/2024 18:53

Freshly squeezed orange juice at room temperature- straight from the fridge sets my teeth on edge.
If it had to be cold then Diet Coke, if not earl grey tea.

LastNight1Dreamt1WentToManderleyAgain · 18/10/2024 18:58

What weather are we being executed in, and outdoors or indoors? Frosty ginger ale if I'm having a summer guillotining please.

Nogodsnomasters · 18/10/2024 19:00

UpTheMagicFarawayTree · 18/10/2024 04:38

A giant cup of tea.

Absolutely this

NooNakedJacuzziness · 18/10/2024 19:00

The pudding wine I had once at Raymond Blanc's Le Manoir that tasted of marmalade and I've dreamt of ever since but never got the name of - it was bloody lovely and I would die happy

Sethera · 18/10/2024 19:00

What weather are we being executed in

What a brilliantly British question!
