What games console

Ds is asking for a Nintendo switch. But he also does not mind a an Xbox or a play station. What are the pros and cons . He's 8 but want it to grow with him. I feel like Nintendo switch is less popular but im not sure why.

It depends what games he wants to play I think.

My two DSs were only really interested in Pokemon games, which are only available on the Switch. They also like Minecraft and Mario Kart.

They are 11 and 14 now and still use the Switch for the Zelda games.

My OH you should always go for whatever console their friends have as they will want to play games together

Switch games are very expensive..around £50. For a lad that age I always think Nintendo is nicer, it's more cartooney. If you are going to let him play online then probably an x box is better but if you're wanting to limit it to household only (which I would at 8) then a switch is fine.

Mine had a switch to share and loved it so they then had their own switch lites. Now my middle child wants a switch oled for Christmas as the screen is bigger. They've got PlayStations but they aren't that fussed on them. Their ages are 23, 12 and 8 for reference.
