Face or figure?

Just wondered what people's thoughts were on this.

I'm 45, I'm at the tip top of my 'healthy' BMI before I go into the over weight range, 2 more pounds on and I'm officially over weight. I'm a size 10-12. I used to be at the lower end of the healthy range, however, middle aged spread has hit and I've put around a stone and a half on.

The benefit to all this is that my skin looks great. Less wrinkles than I had 40, the fat has plumped me up a bit.

My friend has just lost 2 stone and is now at the lower end of her healthy range. Her skin has suffered for it.

So my dilemma is, do I diet to shift the weight and end up looking older or do I stay where I am (maybe try and loose a few pounds so I'm not quite so close to the overweight range).

I'm generally fit and healthy.

Anyone else found themselves in a similar position. Face vs figure?

There is nothing more ageing than being fat.

Health. Can you hit the sweet spot on the middle?

Yeh, I think half a stone off would be a good place for me.
