Premier Inn confirmation help - accessible

JerseySt · 15/10/2024 20:22

I have just booked a Premier Inn for a group, including an accessible room. I had to stipulate the type of bathroom (wetroom not bath) as this is critical for the person that needs it.

I’m positive I selected it correctly, but the confirmation does not confirm it is accessible, or the bathroom type. All the rooms are listed the same.

I’m terrified I have done it wrong.

Has anyone booked an accessible room before, and could tell me if it should say on my confirmation?

I can call them tomorrow but I’m going to lose sleep as it was so important to get this bit right.

Call the hotel now, so you don't spend time worrying

I've never booked with Premier Inn but I do exclusively book access rooms...I would expect it to say so, yes.

You can login to your booking & check?

I just booked 3 accessible rooms, picked the wet room choice but the confirmation said 3 lower bath rooms so I called & thru told me that particular hotel only had one wet room even though it let me book 3!

I have just checked a booking I have with them and in the details it says “accessible double wet room”

The staff on the customer helpline are good. Ring and ask. It may be open 8-8 in which case try tomorrow.

Thanks everyone. This doesn’t bode well from what you say. I have called the hotel but they said only the manager can confirm, and they are not there. I didn’t realise there was a separate booking line, I’ll try that.

I checked at every step I had selected it, and it asked me to choose the type of accessible bathroom so I can’t understand what has gone wrong.

So stressed!

All is well! The person I spoke to at the hotel has obviously sorted it as I have had a new confirmation which has the wet room. It has changed when I log into the booking too.

What a relief, and thank you Premier Inn person!

Glad it's sorted OP, worrying about stuff like that is horrid!
