Good evening everyone.
i feel so lousy… body aching, back legs, chest, hips. Dizzy, tired just horrible really.

I have 3 DCs and feel exhausted. No outside help at all….
ive had honey and lemon, magnesium, omega 3, and managed to put a soup on to boost veg and vitamins etc.

Does anyone have any other tips please 🙏

I'm a fan of Echinacea, high vit warm comfort food soups/stews and buckets of nettle tea with honey.

Go to the GP for bloods.

Ginger.

Pint of water and an apple. When that starts to make you feel even slightly better, beans on brown toast and orange juice. You get hydrations, quickly absorbed sugars, protein, fibre and vitamin c (plus more short sugars). Repeat as needed.

Paracetamol.

Plenty of things feel nice (heat, ice, massage, whatever) but don't actually deal with that central issue of the bodily responses to fighting off bugs.

good fats like olive oil, seeds, nuts, fish. I find they reduce cravings for sugar and in turn increase energy levels. Also feroglobin liquid iron and vit b supplement works wonders for me.

I have a local re-use store that also supplies herbal remedies so I get the echinaeca tablets and tea from them, but it's everywhere, Holland and Barratt is a safe bet.

Once you're ill, rest is your best option. Your body needs to fight the bug.

What age are kids? Can someone help with school run?

Vitamins, good diet etc help stock your body up when you're well. There's no magic solution when you're ill. Just rest, fluids, easily digestible food.
