Windsor castle

Can you drive past and see Windsor castle without actually going in? Travelled down to legoland for a few days and wondering if it’s worth a drive to the castle tonight with kids to let them see it. Were visiting from Glasgow so don’t know the area at all.

Yes you can - it’s right in the middle of Windsor next to the high street. In the daytime you can also walk through Windsor Great Park for free and get the famous view of the castle from the Long Walk - you’ll see more that way than just driving past.
