Can anyone tell me if the application process would involve a language test? I have trawled through website after website trying to understand the process and am not finding the answer. Applicant has Hungarian parent but born in UK so can definitely apply for the citizenship but do they need to be assessed for the language too? They speak some but are no way fluent despite trying very hard. Lots of the information says they "may need to undertake a language test" but can't find out definitively. Can anyone more knowledgeable help us understand the process please?
