Anyone else have an irrational hatred, mine is coughing… I literally can not stand it, it puts me on edge. I fully understand that the person actually coughing can’t help it, and I know it is not pleasant but just the sound puts my teeth on edge. Dd12 gets a cough with literally every cold. She literally has one now which is in the coughing until you gag phase and I can’t help but feel really irritated by it. I can actually hear her through the wall. She’s had cough medicine, calpol, drs won’t do anything because it’s not been 10 days and she literally only has the cough and no other symptoms. At the beginning of the year, me and dd both had the 100 day cough which did in fact last longer than 100 days, her 122 and be 117 days. I pissed my self off over that time with the coughing. At the same time DP had a chest infection which lasted on and off from the 29th of December until he came down with pneumonia beginning of March, I basically listened to coughing for 3 months straight.
everytime someone coughs on the bus, I cringe, it just gives me the Ick even though I know there’s nothing people can do about it.
