EBF baby suddenly pooing constantly

My EBF 11 week old for the past few days has been an absolute pooping machine. He would usually poo once a day, maybe twice, but today alone he's had 7 poos. They're all totally normal, mustard yellow and seedy, no mucus. He seems completely fine in himself.

Do I need to ring the GP about this? I wouldn't be worrying if it was normal for him but he seems to suddenly be pooping like he was in the first couple of weeks!

If the poos seem normal, then you don't need to worry

This happened to my wee one who was EBF, but much earlier at around 1 week. It was totally out the blue. In the end I had to cut out dairy, soya and eggs until she was around 6 months. Her bum was really sore and it was affecting her weight gain. I would say maybe make your HV aware, but if it isn't affecting DS and he isn't losing weight, maybe it will pass. My DDs poos were very foul smelling. Fingers crossed for you 😊
