Swimsuit Recommendation

I know this isn't Style and Beauty but I don't think I'm trendy enough for over there!

I've recently lost 2st but am still overweight (5'6 and 189lb) and I need a new swimming costume(s) for my holiday next week. All I need from it is that it has good boob support otherwise mine will be hanging out of the leg holes!

I'm going to have to order a few and send back the ones I don't like so I don't want to waste time ordering useless ones.

Any recommendations? Thanks.

Lands end do some good quality supportive swimwear but iirc only a few styles go up to E cup, so depends on your shape.

Thank you I'll have a look today, should have said I'm a 38G!

You definitely need to look at Fantasie. Not cheap, but they’re fantastic. Their website also has some designs in their outlet section.

Freya or Elomi for cup sized swimwear.

Pour moi - online
next I find excellent as long on the body so not skimpy or tight when sitting on a sunbed
bravissimo

Curvy Kate, look on eBay too, there’s often a clearance site selling them. Great support all round and not stupidly high cut on the legs!

I am a 38H (size 20) and this year I bought three from Pour Moi. This one in two colours:www.pourmoi.co.uk/products/palm-springs-recycled-colour-block-tummy-control-swimsuit/?styleid=98031 and a different one with thinner straps, plain colour. Non wired, they are still really supportive as the ones I bought go quite high up the back so keep the support around the body. Really good quality and comfortable.

I find underwired swimsuits quite hard to get on and off so went for non wired. I’ve found that scoop backs are a big no-no as the straps tend to slip off as your boobs push forward, so definitely go for a high up back now. Also had a nice one from Next, one that comes in about ten different patters/colours (not cup sized), and like the Pour Moi comes up high at the back and under the arms. I did make a trip to a Bravissimo as I have had really nice Panache Tankinis before but the branch I went to had very little choice and mainly had Bravissimo brand (which didn’t suit - they brought me a lime green flowered tankini top and matching cycling shorts - I looked like Mr Motivator!) and no Panache so I came away empty handed which was quite disappointing. But then found the Pour Moi so I was sorted!
