I'm on my last day of a trip to Blackpool.

I kept meaning to go on a day trip to Lytham St Annes while I was here.

But I've been too lazy and Ive stayed in Blackpool so far.

Is it worth going to see? What is there to do there?

Thank you.

Beach is nice. Very big and sandy when the tide is out. Traditional pier. A few shops.

Lytham has a few nice shops and eateries and there's the beach would be good to have a mooch round, lunch and a walk. St Anne's is similar but more shops. In between there's Fairhaven with a big boating lake.

It depends what you like do. If you want a mooch round the shops, lunch and a seaside walk it would be nice - and today is unusually sunny in Lancashire.

If you do go to Blackpool Bispham has a nicer beach.

Also if you fancy something to eat try the Bispham Kitchen the pies are out of this world.

Fantastic charity shops as it's the 'posh end' of Blackpool!
