Tooth infection - really anxious

Hi , I hope someone can reassure me or advice because my anxiety is really high right now

I've had a sore wisdom tooth and throat both on the right side for about 4 days , I've had similar before and it was pericoronitis so I'm nearly 100% sure it's the same this time around. I haven't contacted the dentist thinking it would get better on its own & the last time the dentist prescribed me amoxicillin I took an allergic reaction so I'm scared and I suffer with horrendous health anxiety.

Pain has eased both on the tooth and throat I've been rinsing with salt & warm water 3x a day the past few days, but tonight my lymph nodes look swollen in the right side so the same side of all of the pain,

I am absolutely terrified I develop sepsis or something.

Anyone any advise what should I do? Will I be okay. Sorry my anxiety goes through the roof when it comes to health . My mind goes straight to worse case scenario

I think you should try to see a dentist. You dont have to worry unless you develop a fever or start feeling really unwell but I would try to see someone just so you know what's happening and can get treatment if needed.

In the meantime, salty rinses as often as you can. ☺️

Thanks. Do you think it's time enough till the morning? That's my fear, incase I leave it too long.....

I wouldn't be able to get a dentist now

Tomorrow will be fine!

If you're worried, you can look at the 111 website which will take you through a load of questions and tell you if you can stay at home, or book an appointment or whatever.

Start rinsing your mouth out with warm salty water.
