I'll be driving 250 miles home and enjoying that being in the car all evening means I don't have to come with an excuse to get out of going trick or treating

Quite a lot. We’re going to a number of events on locally and on Halloween itself we’re going to a farm pumpkin picking and toasting marshmallows. Slightly worried my four year old will set himself alight!

Halloween kids party in town followed by tick or treating. Home in time to watch a kids Halloween film, put DS to bed then watch a proper horror film or two.

Turning the lights out and not answering the door.
Although Toffee Onions and Chocolate- covered Brussels Sprouts always appeal.

We have about 10 friends of DC's coming over for some early food, then they will all head out T or T'ing and the wise amongst us will stay in my kitchen eating cake and drinking wine whilst taking it in turns to open the door!

We do it every year.. our house is a bit legendary.

We 🖤Halloween!

we’re going out. There will be no decorations and the lights will be off

We like having trick or treaters visit but we don't go trick or treating ourselves (DDs do not need any more sugar!) But we like seeing everyone's costumes and the fun of handing out sweets.

We normally get some Halloween party food in and have a mini party at home, being interrupted by the doorbell every few minutes for a couple of hours until we get bored and take the decorations down! Then a "spooky" film.

It's nice Halloween is falling in half term for us this year as it's normally a rush after school and clubs.
