I remember getting glasses for the first time when I was in primary school in the 70s and people saying "you know some people get plain glasses to look like that singer".

She was one of my mum’s favourites - I remember she and my dad went to see her in concert decades ago, my mum was thrilled. I’m so glad Nana is still around at 90 😊

She's singing in the kitchen at this very moment. Lovely voice.

Her vinyls were always sitting next to my uncle's record player. I'm so glad this isn't an RIP thread! 😅
