Do you tell your close friends everything ?

I have a close friend who always wants to know what I'm doing and with whom. Is this her just asking to be nice and am I being a shit friend by saying this ?

Examples:
If Im busy when she asks me to do stuff with her, then she's asking me what I'm doing. Same if there's arrangements via our group chat. If she sees my reply saying I can't make it, then she's messaging me to ask me why.
If she hasn't seen me for the weekend then she's asking me what I did.
If I stay up late then she's saying to me 'you were out of bed late last night'. The only way she would know if I was up late was to check my last seen on whatsapp. Which I know she does.

She makes me feel obliged to tell her everything I am doing, especially as we have a lot of mutual friends who I often bump into when doing anything local.

I have often suspected she has fomo.

No, not at all. That sounds quite stifling. My best friend and I tend to share what we are going through or catch up on news etc but not like you describe. We see each other a couple of times a week, or daily if we are in a good gym routine but we each have our own lives and families.

How rude a friend asking after their friend.

She sounds very intense. I am nothing like that with any of my close friends. I'd be pretty pissed off if any of them were like that - it sounds like an interrogation!
