How do you use red raid spray

(please don’t remind me of how it’s cruel to kill bugs etc)

Usually my flatmate will kindly get rid of bugs as I’m phobic but flatmate is currently away and there’s a spider in flat.

Stupid question but how do you guys use the red raid spray (I’ve heard people mention it on MN) do you spray it on it or near it?

I will not be using the spray regularly it’s just as my flatmate is away

Can you get a glass or bowl, cover the spider, then scoop with a piece of card and put it outside?

If not:
You could use a vacuum to suck it up.

Most bug sprays, you spray onto the bug. The bug will generally run around though as it dies, so could end up anyways in the room! I agree though, read what the instructions say on the can.
