Manchester help please?

So DD has bought concert tickets for a concert at the O2 Apollo. We're staying at the Premier Inn on Portland Street. It's a 1.2 mile walk from the venue, according to Google maps.

Question is... will it be dodgy walking there at 10.30/11pm? I don't know Manchester at all?

Agreed, it's still bustling at that time IME.

Have done that exact walk several times after a gig and it's fine. And I'm overly cautious!

I worked at the apollo and walked that way most Friday/ Saturday nights for almost a year with no issues ( and I left later so not going with the crowd)
Yes there are drunks around and a few idiots but there is also usually a high police presence so idiots are stopped very quickly.

As long as she takes the usual sensible precautions she will be fine.
