Northern Lights Visible

For anyone interested they are visible right now. I’m in the midlands.

Best viewed through a phone camera!

I couldn’t see them where I live. Do you have any photos? Was it impressive?

Not as impressive as last time for me, but that’s maybe because I’m too tired to drive out to a place with no light pollution! There is a lot of street lights around me but this was them through my phone camera.

Not very strong here in Bedfordshire yet, but a definite pink hint to the sky

Ooo thank you for that I dashed outside and managed to get a little look. Bit too cloudy now but I could see pink in the sky with my eyes and took a couple of pictures.not too spectacular but I'm glad I saw it, thanks you 🙂 my app didn't alert!

Can't see anything in Cornwall sadly.

It’s clouded over here too but I think they’ll be active for a while so hopefully it will clear up later!

Bit cloudy, but they look very green here in N Wales

Very clear in my area, Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border, remember to use your phone camera to see them! To the naked eye it just looks like white ish streaks. I don't know the technology but if you use night mode on your phone the colours are absolutely crazy!

I'm just west of Nottingham City, sky is pink and green. Definitely using night mode as opposed to astrophotography? Also depends on your phone I imagine

To the naked eye all you'll see is white, almost like clouds but more translucent If that makes sense

Yes, that’s right! When I saw them in the summer they looked like streaks of fog almost.

I did in the summer, really clearly! Maybe they aren’t as strong tonight?

Cheshire just now

Can see the red and green clear as day with your naked eye here in the NW, more vivid on photos but very much obvious colours without.

Very vivid to the naked eye here in South Scotland. Along with a few meteors too made for quite a show.

Got stronger here at around 10pm. Not visible to the naked eye though.

Norfolk- was incredible. Last time we couldn’t really see anything. But tonight can see the red hue with naked eyes. But thru the iPhone is something else ! This has no filter or anything.
