Syndol (the good stuff) is back!

THIS IS NOT A DRILL! The ‘good’ Syndol (inc muscle relaxant, the only thing that works for many people with migraines) is bs k on shelves. Just spotted in central London and wanted to spread the word so people can stock up before it gets discontinued again.

It's just codeine and paracetamol with a bit of caffeine in.
My daughter takes co codimol
( as advised by her GP).same effect
I can't take codeine unfortunately so have to make do with paracetamol.

No, the original also contains an antihistamine that acts as a muscle relaxant.

That's the only one that has been available for the last year or two. The good one also has Doxylamine Succinate, which makes all the difference!

Thank you for flagging this. I'll keep an eye out. I still check periodically to see if original Syndol is back. It's the only thing that quickly zapped my migraines. I really miss it.

It was in Boots at Oxford Circus so hopefully all Boots stores! Pack of 10 and didn’t push my luck / get greedy by asking for two but will definitely buy some more next time I’m in. It’s the only thing I can take for hormonal migraine if I want to function (triptans work too but put me to sleep).
