What can't you sell?

I've been selling clothes, toys and teddies on Vinted, and some larger items on FB marketplace.

I can't sell duvet covers on Vinted.
Well, you can but they have to be brand new in packaging.
I'm sure people are going to say it's disgusting to sell used bedding, they'd never buy it etc. But I can't see how it's any different to clothes. You can sell used bras. You can sell used socks. But not a lightly used duvet cover.
I was only selling them as they're the ones that never get used.

You also can't sell breast pumps on fb marketplace, as its medical equipment.

What else, seemingly normal things, can't you sell?

With clothes, I'm always surprised at how well my Zara, Uniqlo, COS, etc. items sell, and how badly mid-tier brands like Reiss, Sandro, Maje, White Company, etc. do - despite being priced much more favourably in comparison. For example, £10 Zara dress will be gone within a few hours, whereas a £15 Reiss dress and comparable pieces have been languishing on my profile for months...

Sorry, by can't I meant not allowed.

What does and doesn't sell is also interesting. I had some dresses on there for ages and I finally gave up and donated them - brand new or barely worn, and a very low price.

Baby clothes that aren’t new with tags

I sold tonnes last year all excellent condition. Same sort of stuff this year… just sitting there.

Charity shops won’t even take it

Ah, okay, oops! I do have something to add to the "not allowed" list though - I wasn't allowed to list my unboxed hair straighteners on Vinted...

Not quite the same but when I was in the market for a second hand breast pump I found it very annoying that I couldn't find one locally on fb market place - until I could (just not listed as breast pumps and carefully photographed...). Not everyone wants to buy a new bloody breast pump when sterilisers exist!!!
