My partner never ever seems to have common sense.
Today is the cherry on the cake
We have a whippet who is 1
He has no re call and if off lead (in enclosed spaces he just runs )
Anyway he noticed his lead was snapped (as dog had chewed it ) stuck it back together with masking tape.
Took the dog out and soon as he got to top of street it snapped
20 mins of chasing him,running on busy roads,him having to stop vans to catch him

I'm sorry but how stupid can you get ?
I'm fuming

To be fair, I once polished the living room door, not considering the polish would fall on the wooden floor below.
I was like Scooby Doo every time I left the room

Does he have a job?

I know it’s all very jokey and funny on this thread, but I actually find that rather tragic. Not being able to talk to your H because he’s too stupid is depressing, and it would have been even more so if your dog had been killed by a van. 💔

My father once cleaned a brand new,cost a bomb leather sofa with oven cleaner
My mother almost left him over that
Following day,he mistook the orange bottle of the same oven cleaner for hairspray and did his whole head with it
Ended up in a&e

I once cleaned wooden stairs with furniture polish too. In my defence I (thought I) was helping my mum and was just 4 years old

We have a cat who loves to take a flying leap onto the coffee table.

DH polished the table the other day, and neglected to mention it to the cat who shot up onto the table, slid all the way along and shot off the other end. Wish I'd been here to see it.😂

We have had loads of kisses and cuddles today (me and the baby not the idiot ) ha ha

My newlywed DM polished the hallway floor in their new house. When the vicar came round he stepped onto the doormat and he and the doormat whizzed down the hallway. First and last visit (parents were atheists).

I think they are both dumb things yes, incredibly so. How would you mask walls with that tape? How could you even think it’s masking tape. And she’s on here slagging off her partner saying he’s stupid. So if she can give it, she needs to be able to take it. And he’s every right.
