Where is my robot slave?!

We were kind to our robot hoover, he has a name, we never sought to take advantage of him (other than the 24/7 cleaning) but he's left. He is literally nowhere in the house.

What has happened to him? He's nowhere to be found. Ive searched everywhere!

Ive literally searched everywhere. My only remaining possibility is that he someone got himself under the kitchen cabinets (we have a drawer dishwasher and if he timed it right he could potentially have sneakily slipped underneath and then gone to sleep).

What make is it? Does your app show its last clean thus its last position

GreatNorthBun · 10/10/2024 12:45

Mine escaped into the garden once!

If he's escaped the house he won't survive. Nature abhors a vacuum.

Genius!

Genius!

It's a recycled one...just quick off the mark ...for a change!

If you have a running machine he’s trapped under there, that’s where mine tries to hide. Can get in but can’t get out eh, we’ll see about that!

TickingAlongNicely · 11/10/2024 08:09

Think logically. Follow the paths he could have taken from a door. He might be just under a bush outside.

BitOutOfPractice · 11/10/2024 08:16

Mine was hiding under the bed and had Taken a hairdryer with him for company.

Counciltelly · 11/10/2024 08:23

Mine has a full blown anxiety disorder. As soon as he gets to 50% battery he scurries back to his base. I won’t show him this thread. He’d be too distressed.

ellebelli · 11/10/2024 08:41

You said his name is jerry? Try shouting him..maybe offer some treats

I asked DS2 to look for him the other day and he literally was calling "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry... come on Jezza this is getting boring now"

Running machine was a good shout but unfortunately no.

I'm genuinely about to ask DH to take off the kitchen kickboards this weekend. I just don't see where else he could be

Bjorkdidit · 11/10/2024 10:31

God, is he still missing?

Could he have been stolen by a sneak in burglar?

CoastalCalm · 11/10/2024 10:46

Could he have gone under a bed ?

AChickenPooAndABiscuit · 13/10/2024 07:55

Ha just found this thread courtesy of MN weekly roundup… any sign of Jerry @user7654263 ?

TheReturnOfFeathersMcGraw · 13/10/2024 16:24

The kickboards just pop off and click back on again.... feel quite intrigued as to whether this is a massively successful game of hide and seek or if we need to make contact with Liam Neeson to retrieve your poor, potentially trafficked Jerry

user7654263 · 14/10/2024 22:21

No sign of Jerry. Unfortunately other things took over at the weekend so DH wasn’t persuaded to take the kitchen apart. If he hasn’t reappeared by Friday then I’m going in. It is a bigger thing than it sounds though since the plinths on the cabinets are not the type you can unclip, they are fixed on like skirting boards.

it might be easier to replace Jerry but I feel like I’m letting him down…

“For company” you say?

Chypre · 14/10/2024 22:32

He must’ve found a sock and now he’s free. Just like Dobby.

He’s found plenty of socks in his time and never felt the need to leave us before!

Ours tried to do a runner - I caught her on the decking

Come home Jerry

Needanewname42 · 20/11/2024 01:07

Did you find him?

user7654263 · 20/11/2024 05:41

No Sad

Jerry has now been replaced with Terry.

I'm hoping one day he will return but we have literally searched everywhere.

OP posts:
Needanewname42 · 20/11/2024 08:14

That's weird. Is Terry any better than Jerry?
