Crying with laughter - tell me this is normal?!

Anyone else since having a baby found it harder to keep a lid on emotions? Mine is now just over a year old and I recently went back to work. It's obviously been an adjustment with mixed emotions but overall I think things are going ok.

Why, then, am I recently finding every time I properly laugh at something I start crying?! Full on uncontrollable tears. Happened today at work during a funny conversation with colleagues and they were a bit surprised. Same with DH the other day.

I figured hormones must still be a bit out of whack but made the mistake of googling and it doesn't sound that normal. Anyone?

I'm way more emotional since I had kids. Way more likely to cry or tear up and my youngest is 14 now.

I've actually gone the other way and seem to be less emotional, but I put that down to years of sleep deprivation, that still hasn't improved. Maybe one day I'll be normal again. 😂

@fungibletoken I'm the same although my youngest is Eight! If I start properly belly laughing it nearly always ends in me alternating between hysterical laughter/tears!
Makes me feel like I'm loosing my marbles and my poor partner is totally bemused when it happens. Wish I could say it would pass but it's been happening to me for years now
