Hi, hope I can get some advice. I have been awarded LCWRA, 3 months have passed and now I've been told I have not been paid as it has not been 'computed' neither have I had a reply in my journal

What are your assessment period dates?
What is the date of the LCWRA decision?

I advise you to call the UC helpline on 0800 328 5644 to ask what's happening.

If you can't get through on the phone, or if you can but they're not helpful, send another message in your journal.

You could also consider making a complaint: https://makeacomplaint.dwp.gov.uk

If you're still not getting anywhere and need more help, contact your local Citizens Advice:

Make a complaint about JSA or UC - DWP

Just to check, the three months wait should be from date of first sick note if this is the first time you have been assessed

Assessment periods are from 8th of the month. Sick note accepted on 1st July. I did phone and they told me the computing reason. Also, no reply to my message on uc journal. Thanks for replying, I'll email them to try and get an answer

July 1st sick note

Ok, you shouldn't get anything till your November payment
8 June -7 July ignored
8 July -7 aug first waiting month
8 aug to 7 sept second waiting month
8 sept to 7 Oct third waiting month

So first lcwra payment will be for the assessment period 8 Oct to 7 Nov paid 14 Nov.

OK so you won't get the extra payment until 14th November.

There is a 3 month wait which takes you to 1st October, then you will get the extra payment from the next assessment period onwards - this means you will get it for the period 8th October to 7th November, which is paid on the 14th.

This is correct so no need to contact them or make a complaint. Just check your online journal in a month's time and check that the November payment will include the extra amount.

Do you get PIP as well?
