I am so glad this is now a subject of discussion.
Breakfast news are talking about certificates with the name of the baby.
What a comforting idea. Such a lovely lovely thing.
I had 7 miscarriages, 5 of which were blighted ovum’s. So no baby.
These were pregnancies with very strong pregnancy symptoms right up until close to the actual loss. They were pregnancies in my mind with the hope & possibility and love afforded all of my pregnancies. We had the excitement, the plans, the joy of believing we were going to be a mum and a dad.
But no baby ever existed.
Anyone with the experience of blighted ovum have any thoughts on this in terms of name and remembrance?
