Contraceptive pill

I need some help of which contraceptive pill to go onto, if anyone has any opinions? I'm currently on zeletta which was given to me when discharged from hospital after having my baby but for the past 6/7 weeks I've been on it I've bled for at least two thirds of that time which as a result (sorry TMI) has made me quite sore due to constantly wearing pads for weeks on end.

I've been on rigevidon and microgynon in my younger years and looking at Boots online there is a lot of choice. I never had a problem, from what I can remember, with either of those. As I cannot get a GP appointment for at least two weeks and being so uncomfortable/bleeding so much I can't carry on like it for much longer. Any advice on what pill you have been on? TIA

Sorry no advice but here to say I’m in a similar position. Been on microgynan since July and all good for July and August but since September I’ve had really annoying intermittent bleeding - so about 6/7 weeks now. I’m really unsure what to do as I can’t get a GP appointment either. I’ve done some googling and advice is very wide ranging. I’ve decided to take a 7 day break and start a fresh pack to see if that helps. Hope you get sorted soon.

ps - advice on the soreness, switch to period pants if you can - I use them and they make such a difference to comfort.

Thank you. Sorry to hear you're in the same boat. Maybe I'll give it a break then. I think the one I'm on was given to me as it's suitable whilst breastfeeding but it definitely isn't a long term situation as it is and now I'm not bf'ing it doesn't matter being on that particular one.

Ooh, thank you! I hadn't thought about period pants!
