Just had our 4th embryo transfer and finally got the positive we've been dying for. Im a self confessed serial tester from day 5 post transfer 🙊 i know this isn't ideal, but it really helps me deal and prepare for the outcome.
I kind of know that if i dont get a positive by day 8 latest (its highly unlikely to change).
I have a history of 1 chemical, 1 ectopic, 1 blighted ovum amd 1 beautiful 6 year old girl! (All Pre ivf) ♥

Anyway, posting for a few reasons. 1. I'm sure this is turning to chemical so looking for others experience and views on my tests.

  1. To share some other bumps along the way that may help others on this crazy rude!
Any positives in this journey help us remain sane!!!

So day 5 (which was 6 days ago now) i did my 1st test PM - ridiculous i know! I had the most emotional day and kind of felt out of sorts (which i thought could be a good thing). Test was negative. The next day i picked the test up and there was a line! A clear coloured line!

So 6 days post transfer tested again and from there on got positives.

I didn't test day 10. But when i tested day 11 (pFR) it was lighter than day 9. So PM i did a clear blue digital which said pregnant 1-2 weeks.
I then tested this morning (12 days post transfer) and at first it was negative and took about 5 mins for faint line to appear.

Ive also used cheap stick tests today and yest ( day 11 and 12) and neither show positive).

Feel like we're heading for a chemical. Any experience or thoughts ? Ill post the tests.

Fertility clinic want me to retest in 3 days (so 15dp 5ft)

It’s awful isn’t it? I think your feelings might be correct.

When I had IVF I refused to test until I attended the clinic for the blood test. Are they telling you to test so much? I know it’s hard to resist. I didn’t do a home test until after my 12 week scan because I was so scared that it would show negative (a very much longer for baby).

I hope it’s not what you fear.

I had two chemical pregnancies and unfortunately they followed the same trajectory that your tests have shown.
I really hope someone can hop on and tell you something positive. Such a stressful time.

I’m really sorry but it does look like a chemical to me. I hope it isn’t the case. X

Thanks all, it certainly looks that way doesn't it 🥺 Im not going to test again until wed/Thurs now - pretty sure ill have a negative by them.
Sorry for you ladies who have had previous chemicals...such a cruel outcome x

Will add an update later in the week for anyone searching for answers in the future
