Cotswolds

I'm starting to plan a holiday to the Cotswolds and would like some advice on the best place to stay to make the most of it. We've previously had a night in Bourton-on-the-water but didn't really have much chance to fully explore. We love walking, good food, independent little shops etc but not sure where best to base ourselves.

We'd rather stay in a cottage if anyone has any specific recommendations. Many thanks.

Broadway would be a nice place to rent a cottage, lots of lovely independent shops, cafes and restaurants. There's a great walk up to Broadway Tower. And there's a station for the steam train which you could catch to Winchcombe (another lovely village, which also has Sudely Castle), or further on to Cheltenham.

That sounds perfect, thank you 😊
