There are currently quite a few I have lost respect for, who are yours and why??

George Clarke for me. Can't look at him in the same way.

Are you talking about the position or the person?

Everybody deserves respect as a person. If you show no respect to someone because of the position they occupy in your mind - whether they are a king or an immigrant - you display complete ignorance of that person.

Respect is due to each other from all of us. A person can gain more, or they can lose it. But these are different things.

It annoys me as women have been and still are always being kind. We are not offensive to trans women we meet, we are not beating them up and we are accepting of men in drag ( see very successful Rocky Horror, pantomime, Eddie Izzard etc etc),

Its really annoying when anyone particularly celebrities try to suggest that women are in the wrong for pointing out that sex is not gender. Ricky Gervais has gone up in my estimation.

I'm obviously naive as I thought they were like sisters to each other in that band and they obviously weren't.

That was fair enough. His body. But the way he turned up for tournaments in other countries with different rules and just expected to be let in. Because of who he was.Just no. Not OK. That was the real issue.

Nobody deserves the right to unctuous fawning, simply because of their parents, nor their parents before them.

I don't object to him as a person and I don't believe half of the character assassinations printed about him.

Many women, myself included, won't have an issue with trans women. I am all for people living their authentic selves, but not at the expense of actual women. Unless they have fully transitioned they shouldn't be in womens spaces, and they should never be in womens sports. If they have committed violent sexual crimes against women, they shouldn't be in womens prisons.
I am friends with 3 trans women. 2 of whom have fully transitioned. They are "normal" (other than all have depression, 2 have anxiety and 1 is autistic), and don't actually hate biological women like many trans women in the Twitter/X/Tik Tok sphere seem to.

It's a small vocal minority that are ruining it for the vast majority.
They all know that genetically they are biological males btw.
