Hi Loves,
I would like to invite all ladies who began their IVF/ICSI cycles in September or October 2024 to join this discussion. Here’s a bit about my journey: I have secondary infertility and a 6-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, I experienced two ectopic pregnancies—one in 2022 and another in 2023—which led to the removal of both fallopian tubes, leaving IVF as our only option. I started my stimulation on September 23, 2024, and underwent egg retrieval on October 5, 2024. The doctor retrieved 26 eggs, 22 of which were mature. Both my husband and I are 38 years old.
I have a question: during my egg retrieval report, the doctor mentioned that my eggs were of average quality. How do they assess egg quality? Is it as straightforward as normal or abnormal? I’d love to hear any insights you may have. Also, feel free to share your reports, and let’s support each other as cycle buddies!
