When did your sense of taste/smell come back after covid?

I've been ill for about 5 days now, can't taste anything and smell gone too. Feel totally wiped out and worried it will never end! I hate that I can't taste my food - did it take long to come back?

3 weeks for me. I think it can vary a lot.

Gosh that's a long time - it's quite depressing isn't it!

Had covid Christmas 2022. Still no sense of smell and my taste is off. Nothing tastes as I think it should.
I has a Fess procedure and for a week afterwards everything was great, smell and taste back to normal. Then I caught covid again and back to square one

Had Covid in March. Now have about 70% taste and smell back but its corrupted. Anything that has a strong smell from perfume to petrol all register as the same rotten smell. Coffee smells dreadful, smell of cat food makes me actually gag. Its not back to normal at all.

It was about 3 weeks for me too. I also went deaf in one ear which took a little longer to clear. I hope you feel better soon.

With this current variant, I didn't lose taste or smell but tested positive on the 11th Sept and has taken until today to shake off the cough. - 25 days.

About 10 days, just in time for my birthday thankfully!
