Hi, I'm a single mum with a nearly 13 year old. I lived in central Edinburgh for 6 years then moved back home to Aberdeen when my daughter was only a year old. I'm a counsellor and psychotherapist however there aren't much job opportunities up here or courses for further study. My daughter adores Edinburgh and we've talked about moving for sometime and we want to move before she chooses her subjects. Thinking about areas....I'm thinking Linlithgow, South Queensferry or possibly Dunfermline. I'm looking for a good secondary school and a commute within an hour for myself. I'd be happy to work in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Stirling. Any advice would be greatly appreciated on other areas. She's nearly 13 years old and is into drama, musical theatre, sports and nature.
