Husband threatened to cheat

Can be a vicious bully, but says he is desperate not to divorce. I probably do need to divorce him, but have some issues to get through.

if someone threatens to cheat do they usually follow it up or have already done it? Or is it more abuse, manipulation and bullying?

It doesn’t matter if he goes through with it or not. Take his comment as a ‘get out of jail free card’ to start filing for divorce. He sounds vile and you will be happier without him. Get all your ducks in a row before letting him know that you’re going to apply for a divorce.

As Finallyiamleaving said get all your ducks in a row, without him knowing and see a solicitor to know where you stand. Be prepared, he is playing with your mind.
