Card games, board games for teens and adult get-togethers

Want to have a game night round the table, remember doing this with my family when younger and used to love it. Will have friends and their teenage DC's, just wondering what are your favourite card games, board games or anything that can be played with a group that everyone will enjoy. Thanks!

I've never played it but my dsis says cards against humanity is good fun.

My 15 yo loves Pandemic. You work as a team against the game. We found it made more and more sense the more we played it!

Pandemic is great but complicated. Cards against Humanity is bloody hilarious but some people find it offensive/ tasteless. You could edit the deck before hand. What do you Meme is safer, or Exploding Kittens. Munchkin is really fun but again, best to get the hang of it first.

And we can't quite get into Pandemic, but I think it's because we just want to pick up a game and be able to play it immediately.

The cards games are more collaborative so there isn't a winner as such, there's a loser and/or you're working in teams.

Family edition of cards against humanity is ok but not to everyone's taste, you know your friends (adult version isn't suitable for younger teens and I wouldn't say really suitable for multi generation play)

We played chameleon recently and that was good. Also, Herd Mentality we found really funny and enjoyed- younger ones can play it too.

We played endless rounds of the card game 'Bullshit' with our teens on holiday- just a regular pack of cards and an excellent poker face needed.
